"God said, 'I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.' Pastor Bertram is a True Shepherd over the flock God has given him. He makes sure we are fed a proper spiritual diet with his powerful and anointed preaching of the Word of God. He leads us beside refreshing streams with his personal example of worship. Personally, I feel protected by his ministry and leadership. This type of protective leadership is rare in the church world today, where so many pastors feel intimidated and overwhelmed by the sinful influences coming against the church. I'm glad to have a pastor/shepherd who leads me, feeds me and protects me according to God's will." ~ Cynthia Martin; Member of The Sanctuary APC since 2001
"I was almost 19 and engaged, when God filled me with the Holy Ghost. I was the first person in my immediate family to experience Pentecost and everything was new to me. Though I had so much to learn, I couldn't have asked for a greater example of a what a modest, holy woman of God was supposed to be; that example was Sister Bertram! When I read His word and imagine in my mind what God expects to see in His bride, I see Sister Bertram. I appreciate her example, her guidance, her listening ear, and her faith in me to become the woman that God wants me to be for Him someday." ~ Jennifer Corcoran; Member of The Sanctuary APC since 2002
"A Friend, A Sister, A Listener, A Helper, A Pastor's Wife, and A Mother to All. This is what Sister Bertram is. Compassionate, Understanding, Sensitive, Sympathetic, Suportive, and Prayerful. This is Sister Bertram! She is delightful, willing to serve, a teacher and a confidant. Do you need someone to talk to - to listen - who is strong and trustworthy? Come on over to THE SANCTUARY. Meet our Lady, Sister Bertram!" ~Barbara Price; Member of The Sanctuary APC since 2007
